Women on the Verge of Summoning the Dead, by Nat Lam, is a tech-heavy dramatization about sisterhood, memory, and the invisible ghosts that shape our adult lives. Women on the Verge of Summoning the Dead was recently selected for Jackalope Theater’s Playwriting Lab.

Here, Somewhere, written by Nat Lam, is a multimedia exploration of how, why and what it means to say goodbye to the people and places that we love. It was performed this fall as part of the Rhinoceros Theater Festival, Chicago’s longest running fringe theater festival.

My God is Julie Andrews, written by Nat Lam, follows two young punk musicians as they return to their college town after a year of touring. Unhappy with the way their lives were on tour, they must grapple with the path of their future amidst an increasingly cutthroat industry, waning family support, and waves of self-doubt. My God is Julie Andrews premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024.
